Hello and welcome to The Old Post Office Tearoom

Located right by the entrance to Bradgate Park, Leicestershire, we are an independent and family run Tearoom serving breakfast, brunch, lunch and delicious handmade cakes. We serve high quality tea and locally roasted coffee alongside a carefully thought out, and delicious, menu.

‘What began as a pipe dream that turned into reality has morphed into a passion’

Like many a good idea, the beautiful Bradgate Park is where our dream began. Travelling up to Leicestershire, from our home in Buckinghamshire, to visit family, we would always pass through and frequent Bradgate Park and its stunning surrounding areas. The nature, the stillness and the calm always made us feel right at home and the chance to be able to have a piece of this for our own was an amazing opportunity that was too good to turn down.

What was the old Village Shop, Café and Post Office became our own beautiful, quirky and cosy Tearoom that, most definitely, is now our passion.

Our family has grown since we relocated to this beautiful part of the world and we are forever grateful for the warm welcome and continued support that has encouraged us to put down roots and really settle into life here in Leicestershire.

As well as our family, and sometimes more so, we love dogs. Our dogs have always been a huge part of our lives and we know how much these family pets mean to the people that own them. We welcome dogs both inside and outside, in all weathers, and have treats for them too!
